Hmm.Bass (fish) is as in apple: same for the brewery.Bass (music) is as in "base", whether for a voice, a guitar or a double-bass.Some people in the UK might confuse the two, but if they're not pulled...

really? I've had two cockney friends tell me it's BASS (fish) guitar, not BASE. I don't think they'd both be pulling my leg, but then again who knows.
